iBUYPOWER's second edition of the online Invitational tournament will see a doubled prize pot of $10,000 up for grabs to eight teams.

iBUYPOWER's venture into hosting their own tournaments commenced in February, when the computer company waded into North American waters with a $5,000 Invitational. That tournament was ultimately won by CLG, who trumped Liquid 2-0 in the grand final.

iBUYPOWER will again be partnering with Intel to bring forth their Summer Invitational, this time with $10,000 as the total prize-pool.

Cloud9 were unable to attend the first Invitational, but will take part this time

Seven teams have received direct invites to the online tournament (including Keyd Stars, who are currently living in the US), which will run on June 20-21 in a best-of-three single elimination bracket. The eighth team will qualify via the MSI x iBP qualifier, which itself is a series of three weekends of tournaments hosted by CEVO.
